Statistical Genetics / Bioinformatics
Our focus is on statistical genetics, including genetic epidemiology, population genetics and forensic genetics. We conduct theoretical and methodological work as well as applied data analysis in collaborative projects, with a focus on human genetic data. Our work has included, among others, identification of genetic factors implicated in different human diseases, theoretical insights into disease etiology, the elucidation of patterns of human genetic diversity and statistical aspects in forensic genetics.
